Cafe Barista

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Junior Barista to join our café team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of coffee preparation, including coffee grinding, espresso extraction, and latte art. They should be friendly, professional, and committed to delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Grind coffee beans and adjust grind settings to ensure consistent coffee quality.
• Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, including Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino, Latte, and Mocha.
• Perform proper espresso extraction while maintaining café quality standards.
• Create basic latte art designs such as hearts and simple tulips.
• Greet and serve customers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and handle payments when required.
• Keep coffee equipment, workstations, and customer areas clean and organized.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and reporting stock requirements.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth café operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of coffee grinding and espresso extraction.
• Ability to prepare standard espresso-based drinks consistently.
• Basic latte art skills.
